No Camping Allowed!

A Conscious Rant

Camping is now prohibited in this area. I can’t stand seeing these signs anymore! Even though they claim to prohibit something, they’re often meaningless.
No Camping Allowed!

But why is this happening? And who is to blame?

Is it the careless camper who leaves behind a trail of trash and destruction wherever they go?
Or the responsible camper who ends up taking the blame?
I don’t know if it’s envy or resentment from people who see others enjoying nature with their families — relaxing on the beaches, having fun, living simple moments.
Some try to take advantage of this — whether through real estate speculation or by favoring the wealthy — filing complaints with the authorities without any real sense of fairness or solid reasoning.

In many cases, places where I’ve camped several times… when I return, I find a condominium, a luxury hotel, or a private mansion built there.
Is this what they call preserving nature?
They always choose the most beautiful places — to build, to profit, to take over.
Especially near beaches, which should belong to everyone — to local people and even to the humble traveler.
They turn them into private beaches. They even take over islands.
And if you dare to step into one of these places, armed security guards appear — with dogs — threatening campers and unsuspecting visitors.

Unshakeable Mansion
An unshakeable mansion belonging to a religious figure.

A private residence in a vast green and protected area, owned by a well-known religious leader.
And there it is — in a place that was never inhabited — a sign: No Camping!

Enough is enough.
This is a disgrace and a complete lack of respect for ordinary people.

“It is written that beaches are public, and everyone has the right to enjoy them — as long as they preserve them. This is guaranteed by the Constitution – Chapter VI (Art. 225).”

Let’s also look at organized campsites, private fishing areas, rental properties, and farms — occupying large green areas, blocking rivers and lakes, all in the name of profit.
At the same time, we must support responsible environmental authorities, environmentalists, and public institutions that truly work toward preserving nature.

It’s true: there are bad campers — uninformed, careless people who have no respect for environmental preservation.
A good solution would be to create some kind of environmental awareness movement focused on wild camping — something that could educate and guide people properly.

By doing this, we stop giving opportunists the excuse to claim that campers are the ones destroying nature.

A bad camper enjoying nature!
A bad camper enjoying nature!
We should come together and find solutions.
Our beaches — now filled with warning signs and massive constructions — must be restored.
Our rivers, lakes, and islands should be free again for those who have already been pushed aside: the less privileged, the forgotten.
We must value our freedom and our rights — and put an end to this shame.
We could seek support from unions, honest public officials, and even higher authorities — before it’s too late.
Although it must be said: some politicians (not all) are also part of this problem.

To Remember

This site is not only about camping, as many might think.
It also explores survival, natural livingconservation, and the human need to reconnect with nature.
Camping here is not just a leisure activity — it is a reflection on who we are, and our place in this world.

I am not criticizing organized camping clubs or associations such as CCB, or those who prefer this type of structure.
But many use these systems for financial gain.
This is a vent — because speculation has gone too far.
And I say this so that those who truly love nature can open their eyes.
For those who love wild camping:
What does it mean to hike, fish, dive, and survive using your own resources?
To build friendships, share experiences, help one another?
That spirit is rare in organized campsites.

“In this small space called Natural Camping — attention: Naturalism! (not to be confused with naturism or nudism) — I will continue to insist on this subject as much as I can.
(And yes, even Charles Darwin would probably agree.)”

And you, my friend — share your opinion.
Criticize. Report. Help find solutions.
Let’s make our voices heard — through radio, TV, newspapers, social media… wherever possible.

The Rio, I love, I care, movement is here!
The Rio, I love, I care, movement is here!
“Folks, with this message, I hope I’ve raised awareness — even if it pleases some and displeases others.
Thank you very much for your attention. A hug to all.”
