The state offers a wide variety of destinations, from coastal villages to mountain regions, most of them located between 100 km and 300 km from the capital. These places provide different camping experiences, whether you prefer the sea or the forest.

Here are 8 selected places to camp in Rio de Janeiro, including both well-known spots and quieter locations.

Praia do Sono

Praia do Sono is known for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.

Surrounded by preserved Atlantic Forest, the beach has limited sunlight during the day, which makes it even more quiet and relaxing.
